Synkroniciti is proud to nominate four writers for the Best Microfiction Anthology. We’ve never done this contest before–but we’ve never had so much microfiction and flash appearing on our pages. To be eligible, pieces must be 400 words or less and must not have won any prizes or contests.
If we choose a piece for an issue, we already think it’s a winner, but there are some pieces that really stick with us. Congratulations to all the nominees; we hope you make the anthology!

Our nominees are:
Julie Dron, “Returning,” from “Family,” Vol. 6, No. 1
Jill Crainshaw: “a penny for your wishes,” from “Belonging,” Vol. 6, No. 3
Elizabeth Ohga, “Ghosted,” from “Haunting,” Vol. 6, No. 4
Neil Ellis Orts, “Ancient Grains” from “Haunting,” Vol. 6, No. 4
