Synkroniciti is a quarterly online literary and visual arts journal. We accept work in a variety of media across the visual, literary and performing arts spectrum. Issue twenty-seven, “Audacity,” was released March 15, 2026.

“Expectations” is now closed. “Dignity” opens May 1, 2026. There will be contests in poetry, short play, and for the cover.

Submissions should be emailed to magazine@synkroniciti.com. Please place your name, the sub-category of submission and the theme in the subject field of your e-mail.

The submission fee is $3. You may submit more than one entry in one or more categories. We currently pay only artists winning the top prizes in our contests.

A magazine cover featuring a large pink lotus flower on dark green foliage, with text detailing submission guidelines for a magazine titled 'Synkroniciti', including contest themes and deadlines.

General submissions are always open. If you have something we should see, send it in. You might even decide a future theme. Each issue has three contests: one for the cover, one in poetry and one which rotates across genres. An artist is not eligible to win in the same category until a year has passed (4 issues) but may win in another category.

Pending payment, all submissions will receive a response shortly after our submission deadline. If your work is selected you will be asked for biographical information and we will work with you to make sure that your work is displayed in a way that makes you happy. You will receive the issue of Synkroniciti Magazine that features it for free.

Don’t want to pay submission fees? Become a subscriber ($10 every six months/2 issues) and you will have unlimited free entries (as long as you are subscribed).

If your work is selected we request the right to publish it in both the e-book and the website archive of Synkroniciti Magazine. We accept simultaneous submissions and pre-published work (contingent upon the other parties involved allowing publication).
