Synkroniciti is delighted to welcome writer and photographer Gwendolyn Womack of Houston with two luminous kaleidoscope photographs that revel in color, texture, and transformation. Aurora Borealis Rose unfurls in shades of red, pink, and orange, a floral constellation that seems to pulse with heat. Amethyst in Bloom—one of our “Patterns” Cover Contest finalists—shimmers in a cooler spectrum of blue, violet, and silver. Here the kaleidoscope refuses containment, its geometry spilling beyond the frame, creating a subtle tension between order and expansion. Strong textures suggest motion and metamorphosis. Gwendolyn’s images invite us to linger inside the shifting symmetry, mesmerized by light and shadow.
