Look and Listen #27: The Healing Dance of Sevil Kara

Sevil Kara is a Kurdish Sufi Dancer living in Geneva. In her travels to Turkey, Morocco and India she has learned much about her heritage and her commitment to her internal journey. Sufism is the mystic side of Islam, and dancing is one vehicle for connecting to God. Movement, light, energy are means for wholeness, healing and transformation. Rather than focusing on performance, Sufi dance is about healing.
