Synkroniciti is thrilled to welcome playwright Rex McGregor from Auckland, New Zealand, where he writes prolifically and works as a Collections Librarian in the city libraries. The Birds Are Feeding Me is a delightful short comedy about life in an apartment building during COVID-19 quarantine. Kim has been feeding birds on her balcony and those birds have been doing their business on Doug’s balcony above. Doug, a member of the apartment association committee, thinks he can use his clout to stop Kim’s irresponsible charity, but an unexpected development may have him eating crow. Rex’s writing is clever, mischevious and uplifting while satirizing the modern condition.
