Welcome author John Sheirer, a natural story-teller with a sparkling sense of humor. His short-story, Please Use Our Award-Winning Restrooms, is a delightfully playful tale of a burned-out writer approaching a mid-life crisis. Everything changes when she pulls off of the interstate to fill up the gas tank on Akiko, her aging Honda Civic and sees a sign advertising “Award Winning Restrooms.” Intrigued, she decides to go in and check out the facilities, even if it is for “psychological, not physiological reasons.”
