Optical Illusion in Motion: Möbius by ENESS

Have a look at Möbius, described as a “collaborative stop motion sculpture” consisting of twenty-one large green triangles. In May 2011 it was moved about in Melbourne’s Federation Square, where the public was able to interact with it. The triangles can be animated into a variety of patterns, in this case creating the illusion that Möbius is emerging from and sinking into the ground.

Möbius was developed by ENESS, an art and design company that creates interactive installations combining different disciplines, based in Melbourne, Australia. Their works have been displayed all over the world in museums and outdoor locations such as public parks and neighborhood blocks.
