Welcome back writer John Sheirer with a sweet piece of flash fiction titled “Perfect World.” For many of us, animals are part of the family. We don’t always recognize the ways they help us fulfill our dreams and be better people. Libby is a marvelous terrier, a cancer survivor and a fervent outdoor enthusiast. If she were human she would likely be a better person than most but, even better, she’s a dog.
Enjoy John’s surreal tale in our “Intersections” issue (Vol. 4, No. 4). It’s sure to make you smile.
