2nd Powell Expedition, 1871-72
Now part of Dinsosaur National Park
The first Powell expedition explored the Colorado and Yampa rivers 145 years ago. This stunning presentation of a journey through the American Southwest’s canyon country is a great way to commemorate that event and reaffirm the mysterious beauty of the region. It includes fantastic footage of the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Glen Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion. There are many more wonders to be seen, but these are gorgeous.
