Please join Synkroniciti in welcoming poet Pasquale Trozzolo. We are excited to feature “Triptych,” a set of three poems: “Confess,” “How Was Your Day?” and “Multitasking,” exploring the ritualistic patterns of desire in relationships. Spicy and direct, Pasquale gets at the tension between love and time, accentuated by societal pressures that attend a materially successful life and career. The busier and more familiar with one another we become, the more we need to be surprised by one another and keep paying attention.
Read these vivacious and vulnerable poems in Synkroniciti’s upcoming issue, “Ritual,” which will debut online on March 1st. Subscribe or purchase the individual issue here.
Pasquale Trozzolo is a retired madman from Kansas. His poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Sunspot Literary Journal, The Pangolin Review, What Rough Beast, 34th Parallel, From Whispers to Roars, The Dewdrop, Wingless Dreamer, and Tiny Seed Journal. The Poetry Box published his debut chapbook Before the Distance in December 2020. A collection of his poems was the focus of an art gallery show titled Figures of Speech at the nationally recognized Eva Reynolds Fine Art Gallery in Overland Park, Kansas. Still no tattoo—or MFA, he continues to complicate his life by living out as many retirement clichés as possible.
