Synkroniciti is honored to welcome poet, author and photographer Mary Pacifico Curtis from southern California. We present three mindful poems: Hello, Grief, Garden, Hawk, a reflection on existence and meaning; The hawk circles, an airy observation of a hawk in flight; and The Shepherd’s refrain: It Is Coming, dedicated to Greta Thunberg and recognizing the pivotal nature of our time. Identifying with the hawk, Mary is clear-eyed and far-sighted.
