Featured Artist: JT Morse

Synkroniciti is pleased as punch to welcome back poet, author and photographer JT Morse. You might remember JT’s beautiful cover for our third issue,  as well as her atmospheric photography and poetry across our first three issues. This time we are featuring My Mutant of a Feathered Friend, a tender poem that hearkens back to childhood and salutes a hero from the small screen. Hint: he’s very tall and bright yellow. This fellow brought (and continues to bring) a safe and quiet space for kids into our living rooms, some of which were not safe and quiet. JT fuses nostalgia with an appreciation for the teachings on social justice and character that shaped us growing up.

Please subscribe or purchase the issue here to read JT’s heart-warming poem. The issue, our ninth, debuts September 1st with the theme of “birds.”
