Featured Artist: Hazel Copcutt

Synkroniciti is delighted to introduce artist Hazel Copcutt with three whimsical digital images from her Liquify Me Series: “Non Non, Non Le Mange Pas,” “She Whispered Softly, I Must Run Now” and “She Almost Lost Her Mind For a Little Coffee,” celebrating the simple ritual of coffee and tea. A performance artist and photographer as well as a visual artist in the physical and digital realms, Hazel bites into our “Ritual” theme with gusto. Her sense of humor and fun are enchanting.

Enjoy these playful images in Synkroniciti’s upcoming issue, “Ritual,” which will debut online on March 1st. Subscribe or purchase the individual issue here.

I am a northern UK-born fine artist, photographer, performance artist, and mother of two. We are currently based in the Rhone-Alpes of France, (I can’t ski) with my two daughters and partner. I also love to work with oil paints, graphite pencils, crayons, inks, and clay.

“I am a romantic and France, well, is the capital of romance, right?”

I feel drawn to anyone with a good sense of humor, be it dry or dark or silly. I find so often that art is taken too seriously. In this collection, I want you to see life and style but know that underneath it I want to make you chuckle and lighten your heart in the everyday rituals of this life.

Please check out Hazel’s beautiful website, chock-full of art, video and more.
