Featured Artist: Derek Roper

Synkroniciti is pleased to welcome back the Mad Artist, digital artist Derek Roper. Derek creates work based on the Cosmic Mythos of H.P. Lovecraft and it is always interesting to research these stories which lie at the origins of modern sci-fi, dark fantasy and horror. Leng is a work of beauty, a mirage-like world accessed through sleep and altered states. The Hounds of Tindalos are the creation of Frank Belknap Long, and these are some nasty exsanguinating brutes to watch out for if you decide to time-travel.
Want to see the Hounds moshed out before your very eyes without the risk to life and limb? Want to see the mirage of Leng? Please subscribe or buy the issue. Thank you!
The maestro of mad art, Derek Roper, has dedicated his creativity and ingenuity to the cosmic mythos. The Mad Artist delves into the abyss of horror to bring forth tentacled creatures dragging you into the deep reaches of the cosmos.
Some of his favorite classic cosmic horror stories include “The Call of Cthulhu,” “The Shadow Over Innsmouth,” and “The King in Yellow.” Of course, there are many more! His passion for these stories and the mythos drive his creative processes (and himself a little mad).
