“Family” Featured Artist Sarah Jane Justice

Synkroniciti is stoked to welcome back creative force of nature Sarah Jane Justice from Australia with “Perfect,” a heartwarming video tribute to her daughter. Sarah Jane wrote and performed the poetry and music as well as editing personal footage to make a delightful short film. The combined effect is deeply moving, as music and spoken word swell and ebb, beautifully coordinated with visuals which will pull at your heart strings. We find ourselves floating in a bubble of wonder and gratitude. Sarah Jane speaks engagingly of the bond and sacrifices that come along with being an effective, loving mother. “Exchanging our life for the life we created, no taking it back, no regrets…” There are few joys as deep as seeing a child, no matter what challenges they face, be unabashedly and good-naturedly themself. Sarah Jane is an award-winning slam poet and does not disappoint with her percussive, rhythmic delivery, full of assonance and fricative music. The interplay between her spoken word performance and her musical composition is stunning as they counterpoint and complement each other.
