“Chlorine” by Sarah Jane Justice Wins Synkroniciti’s “Present” Short Story Contest

Synkroniciti’s first short story contest award goes to “Chlorine” by Sarah Jane Justice of Adelaide, Australia. “Chlorine” is is the tale of a woman in the hospital after experiencing severe trauma. The disorientation and temporal shifts that follow such an experience, here shepherded by the smell of chlorine, are told with vulnerability and honesty, revealing a long line of events that brought our heroine to her present state.

Sarah Jane’s writing is spell-binding and sincere and we are so proud to feature this story.

Check out her website. We’ll have more in our February Artist Features.
