Synkroniciti is a quarterly online arts journal. We accept work in a variety of media across the visual, literary and performing arts spectrum.
Subscribe here. You can also buy individual issues. These are online e-books; after processing, which requires us to receive and manually send your order, you’ll receive a link in your email from WeTransfer which will take you to our personalized page where you can download the PDF of the issue.
Submissions have just closed for “Vulnerable.” We will officially announce our next theme on May 1st.
“Family” came out March 1st. The cover, shown below, is “Family” by Kelly DuMar.
Congratulations to all of the 43 artists chosen for inclusion in our upcoming “Family” issue! The issue, our largest offering to date, will debut online March 1st and may be pre-ordered here: https://synkroniciti.com/the-magazine/purchase-individual-issues/. Our submissions were up 25%, so competition was fierce–there were many tough decisions–and the issue is stunning. Our lovely, evocative cover is Family by Kelly DuMar.

Synchronicity is a term coined by Carl Jung that refers to “the simultaneous occurrence of events which appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection.” This makes our focus eclectic, but we do have subjects that we favor:
The arts and creativity, the intersection of art and science, nature, social justice (pro feminism, pro GLBTQIA, pro Black Lives Matter and support for any opportunity to promote equality and respect across the lines of gender, ethnicity, culture, religion and economic status), mythology and storytelling, imagination and fantasy, dreams and their imagery, and personal and collaborative expression.
